A First for South Australia – Our New Wildflowers Café and Function Rooms have opened today.

The magnificent, environmentally considered building, designed by Studio S2 Architects, has come to a completion. The building incorporates Wildflowers Café, Gifts @ Centennial Park and three function rooms that can be utilised separately or opened to facilitate for functions of larger capacities.

Last Thursday 25 March, the facility was officially opened with a VIP function within the stunning structure. His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia attended the official opening and cut the ceremonial ribbon.

To commemorate the opening, South Australian artist, Karl Meyer also known for his ‘Connections’ sculpture featured at the Goodwood Road Park entrance, has created a sculpture ‘Ethereal’, located outside Wildflowers Café. “The form conveys notions of life force weaving and flowing through the space,” describes Karl.

Blanco Catering, award-winning caterers, are the official catering partner for families and visitors at Centennial Park, and the operators of Wildflowers Café. Part of the Blanco Horner Group, their focus is on fresh, high quality, seasonal local produce.
