Peaceful areas to reflect and remember
A traditional and dignified burial, providing a lasting tribute to your loved one. At Centennial Park, our traditional burial options offer beautifully maintained resting places honouring personal, cultural, and religious traditions.
Classic burial positions
A non-irrigated burial position with traditional headstones, including areas for specific religions such as Bahá’í, Catholic, Druze, Lutheran, Maronite, Muslim, Orthodox, Orthodox Jewish, and Progressive Jewish faiths.
Lawn burial positions
A fully irrigated burial space ensuring year-round lush surroundings and a well-maintained environment. Our lawn burial positions are distinguished by beautifully uniform sloping granite headstones.
For families who may need more room, our fully irrigated larger lawn positions offer a peaceful setting, with space for larger coffins or caskets.
Derrick Gardens
Derrick Gardens, established in 1956, is named after WWII Victoria Cross recipient Lieutenant Thomas “Diver” Derrick and serves as a memorial area for service personnel.
At its centre stands the Cross of Remembrance, flanked by two pine trees grown from seedlings from Lone Pine in Gallipoli. Nearby, the Services Family Garden honours the families of service members, with bottlebrush trees offering shade to beautifully sculpted roses.
