Choice. Control. Clarity.
We’re here to help you plan.
Losing a loved one is a very emotionally challenging time for families and friends. The reality is that planning a funeral is one of the toughest times, particularly when wishes are unknown or unclear. Families can be faced with making important decisions at a time of grief and stress.
Australians are focussing more on celebrating a life as an important part of mourning the loss of a loved one. Plan the elements that are important to you, that reflect you and your life, whether it’s food and wine, music, flowers, and nature. Your funeral, your way.
When planning ahead, there are a few key decisions to consider.
Burial or Cremation
Funeral/Memorial Service
What kind of celebration of your life is important to you?
Do you have places in mind for the celebration?
Would you want the celebration after your burial or cremation, or before?
Many believe they have to follow a certain order, but you can do things in an order that suits you and your loved ones. For example, we are finding some people choose to have a cremation and then have the ashes at their celebration.
We have beautiful spaces at Centennial Park, including a dedicated outdoor service area within our gardens and various indoor venues from intimate to spacious areas within our Jubilee Complex.
We also have bright, light contemporary Function Rooms overlooking our gardens where families choose to gather together with extended family, friends, and those connected to a loved one to share stories and remember while enjoying quality food and beverages. Each of the Function Rooms can be booked independently or all three rooms can be opened into one large room.
Memorials
Burial and ashes memorial positions provide a physical place and meaningful anchor point for family and friends to continue to connect with a life that impacted them.
Burial choices include vaults, earth burials, those that provide for larger headstones or monuments, as well as areas that accommodate specific religious and cultural requirements.
Ashes memorial options include walls niches, garden edges, rose gardens, under trees, or on garden seats. We have more than 30 themed gardens for ashes memorials.
If after purchasing and receiving your Pre-paid Products and Services Certificate from Centennial Park, you change your mind, we will refund your money.
