Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness
Centennial Park recognises Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day
On Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, October 15th we stand together to acknowledge and remember the precious lives of little ones who departed too soon. In recognition, Centennial Park is inviting families and friends to write a note of remembrance and hang on our tribute wall.
We also invite families to collect a copy of ‘Yesterday You Were Here’ by South Australian author/illustrator Melissa Little. Discussing the loss of a loved one with children can be a very difficult subject and this book may help children make sense of what has happened.
The tribute wall will be located in our Jubilee Complex Foyer during October and books are available alongside until stocks last.
